hamlet act 1 scene 1

1. It's the begining of somthing mysterious. The ghost of Hamlet’s father shows up in front of the guards and Horatio, dressed in armor. except he wont say anything to anyone. This part keeps readers interested.

2. We find out that the ghost is actually Hamlet’s deceased father. it tells you about the deaths of the King and Fortinbras how they faught. this part of the book tells you how good the towns were.

3. The spirit comes back to greet haratio and the gaurds, where, he doesn't say anything again. A gaurd hits the ghost but goes right through him with out even noticing. the ghost could be trying to say follow me.

4. When the scene starts the guards do not beileive what they see theyre just mezmerized in shock.

5. as the ghost disapears and reapears haratio cant decide if what he see's is real or not.

6. He feels like the King has returned to lead them to his murderer. But then later he realizes that maybe he has arrived to ward them off from the land for protection.

7. Francisco, Horatio, Marcellus, Barnardo, King's Ghost, Fortinbras

8. That he and the old King Fortinbras were in a battle with each other

9. He’s the son of the deceased Fortinbras.

10. He says that corpses rose from beneath the ground and roamed the streets, terrorizing the community and speaking in an indescribable language. And that the stars fell from the sky.

11. haratio is the one who doesn’t believe that the ghost is real, until it actually appears in front of him. Marcellus and Barnardo were frightened and but not as much as haratio

12. because he is a realist and doesnt think about the unknown.

13. That Denmark and Norway were in a battle with each other,and Old Hamlet murdered Old Fortinbras and took over his land.
