Debate laws protect freedom- I think laws protect freedoms because if their weren't any laws there would be riots people dying and chaos. The laws are to protect people so they can be free and live safe lives.
Theme- The paper weight represents Julia and Winstons relationship especially after they are caught and people from big brother break it.
The song represents winston and Julia's time together and once it stops they get discovered by the telescreen.
The Ryhme represents that everything for Winston and Julia is over they have been caught.
The clock represents the view of time and how people do not have enough.

scene 3-1
1) They report that hamlet is going crazy, and that there will be a play.
2) claudius agree's with him.
3)they're going to spy on hamlet to see why he is going mad.
4)He's knows once he does this it could be the end of his life, and he is also thinking about suicide.
5)Afraid of what comes next after suicide he could be damned for ever.
6) Opheilia gives back hamlets letters and finds out that she has been spying on him, but he also fears if she is with him it could threaten her life.
7)He's saying that the king's marriage will end and there will only be one marriage left.
8) Wants to send him to England to get unpaid tribute/trying to get England to take care of him.

Themes- Revenge
Death-
Humanity-people are very smart and graceful but in reality were all just dust in the wind.
corruption or living in unjust/corrupt world-no one is honest in denmark.
hamlet says that denmark is a prison/also the world is a prison in itself.meaning that there are terrible things happening in the world.ex. people starving,dying,lying.
this is just his perception of the world.
"monarchs are shadows of beggars" without the people wanting a leader they wouldnt exist. (kings) ex. lebron james.
polonius- pimps his daughter so he can become royal as well.
spying-king and queen spy on hamlet
hamlet spying on everyone by acting like he went mad.which could cause him to actually go mad.

1) Reynaldo was sent to paris to spy on Laertes.
2)To see if his son is doing wrong in France.
3)He is suppose to make things up about him and see if its true.(ask around about Reynaldo.)
4)Shows his paranoid behavior.cant trust anyone.
5)He is telling Reynaldo to make things up about him to see if he is really doing it.
6)Hamlet is white as a ghost and looks a little disturbed.
7) Polonius thinks Hamlet went mad which is what he wants him to think.

hamlet scene 1-3 and 1-4
1)Laertes warns Ophelia to stay away from hamlet because he can't choose his wife, he doesnt want ophelia to be broken hearted.
2)Ophelia is being compared to the flower, while the canker galls are worms. The worms are decaying the garden.
3)She says she'll protect herself but tells Laertes not to be a hypocrite.
4) Do not be vulgar, dont dress fancy, always be nice to people, dont pick fights, listen to people but dont talk a lot.
5)Hamlet is insulting her in this letter tells her he will be the laughing stalk if he is with her to me this means he isnt interested. Because it shouldnt matter if he is the laughing stalk.

7) He commands her to never see hamlet again.

9)Horatio thinks the ghost could be the devil and lead him off a cliff.
